Three-Year-Old Spreads Joy to Many After Adoption Picture Goes Viral
As a children’s home and foster care and adoption agency based in Gonzales, Texas, FamilyLink Kids at Legacy Ranch (FamilyLink Foster Care) provides a safe haven for children in need of temporary and permanent care. FamilyLink Foster Care’s services include placing children from infants to teens in safe and loving foster or adoptive homes and advocating on behalf of children by giving presentations near and far at a variety of institutions throughout the city of Gonzales and surrounding areas.
A joyful picture of a young boy from Arizona holding his fist in the air following his adoption after spending 832 days in foster care has gone viral. According to People magazine, the three-year-old child, Michael Brown, lived with three different families during that time. His biggest wish for Christmas was to find a forever home, and his wish came true just before the winter holiday when his foster mother, Tara Montgomery, legally adopted him following failed plans to reunite with his birth mother. His picture on Twitter to date has been liked more than 143,000 times and shared more than 57,000 times.
